Singapore | Asia
From now on when someone mentions a clean place all I'm going to think about is Singapore. I was completely blown away with how pristine everything was! Not one part of the city felt dirty. Pretty impressive considering how many people live there. Another thing that I was impressed by was the architecture. Epic buildings! One of which I'm sure you are all familiar with. The Marina Bay Sands. An ultra modern building overlook all of Singapore. Definitely worth stopping by to check out the rooftop pool and bar area. We had a couple drinks here (warning: very very expensive drinks) but totally worth it for the view and a once in a lifetime experience. We moved on to check out the Gardens of the Bay which make you feel as though you are in the middle of Jurassic Park. You could easily spend a whole day here as they have tons of exhibitions to see. The cloud forest was my favorite.
We got to experience the water Spectra water and light show outside of the Marina Bay Sands. This is a free show and tons of people gather to see it come to life. Below is a list of other really cool things to do and see in the area.
Sentosa Island - Sentosa is a kids paradise. The amount of family fun is ridiculous in this place. We stuck around to watch the water and light show. Again, another impressive attraction.
Clarke Quay - Clarke Quay is a historical riverside quay in Singapore. This is where we went to party. The whole area is full of restaurants, live bands and bars. Tons of fun!!
China town - I did a lot of shopping here! Everyone was so nice and willing to haggle which is always fun for me. A lot of great buys and some interesting art in the area.
Hawker Chan restaurant - OMG... words can't describe how amazing the food is here. The line was out the door and wrapped around the building. This is a semi fast food type place and obviously doing a great job as everyone (locals and tourists) are willing to wait to have a meal. I'm salivating just thinking about it.
Singapore is a beautiful place! I'm lucky I got to experience it. <3
