Wedding & Wine - Tis the season to run off and be merry or get married! I was invited to a beautiful wedding in Sedona, AZ a few weeks ago. I'm never unimpressed when visiting that little town. The red rocks are always magnificent. Good vibes in that place. Might just be the vortex ;) The wedding was held at Sky Ranch Lodge. Nestled atop Airport Mesa in the center of Sedona, overlooking all of Red Rock Country. Beautiful property and the bride and groom couldn't have asked for better weather. After dancing the night away we rose out of bed the next morning and continued the celebrations in Cottonwood, AZ. Page Springs Cellars was such a pleasant surprise! After spending time in wine country I didn't think any other winery could compare. The service was wonderful, the wine was delicious (especially when paired with the black salt caramel bar) I know, $7.50 for a chocolate bar?! Trust me, if you're a chocolate lover like me, it's worth every single penny! Ok ok, enough about the chocolate. What really blew me away about this place was the location! It was a scene out of a Nicolas Sparks movie. Light rain, drinking wine and eating chocolate on a picnic table overlooking a running creek surrounded by lush green grape vines. Perfection?! A million times YES! I spent a wonderful weekend with great friends in a very small town named Cottonwood.
