Sedona
A short drive from Phoenix and you end up in another world! I'm sure you have all heard of Sedona. The beautiful red rocks and of course all the talk about the vortex. I am intrigued! So much so, that during our visit we decided to get our auras read. Seems like the thing to do while in town. Every other shop advertises they are the best. So which do you choose? My mom and I were both drawn to Sacred Light of Sedona. Might have been the wild pigs running around in the parking lot or maybe we just felt good vibes. Either way, the process was pretty quick and they were all very nice and knowledgeable. I learned a lot about myself and even came home with a citrine stone which was recommended to me after having my aura read. It is considered the "success stone" - to promote and manifest success and abundance in all areas. You can never have enough of that huh! I also had a yellow aura. It is the color of awakening, inspiration, intelligence and action shared, creative, playful, optimistic and easy-going. I received a whole booklet on more info, but that pretty much sums it up. I loved my results and felt it was very true to who I am. The good and the bad. I'll keep the bad to myself lol
My mom and I spent our day wandering around the downtown area, doing a little window shopping and drinking our coffee. If you're into art at all, this place is money! but... deep pockets are a must! womp womp. Looking for something a little more adventurous? We say yes! Check out Sedona Off-Road Adventures. Similar to the very well know pink jeep tours, these guys will take you on your own off roading adventure and the BEST part is you can combine that with a wine tour! We stopped at a couple wineries for some tastings. Page Spring Vineyards which I've raved about in my W&W blog post was one of them. So much charm! I could have easily stayed there all day but there was more fun to be had. Following the wine tours, we hit the desert for some excitement! Our tour guide was not only a blast but super knowledgeable! The type of person who could live off the land with how much he knew about everything around us. It was great! We went on a hike and also checked out Sedona Church Rock during our stay and wrapped it up to head back home the next day. It was a fab weekend and I'm glad I got to spend it with my mom! She's the best!
